The fans have spoken and the staff at has listened.  Full-fledged Trackside Now coverage of the 49th Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway will be available on December 1-4.


51’s Trackside Now coverage will consist of live blog-style updates from when the first hauler pulls into the race track on Wednesday until the post-race technical inspection process is clear on Sunday night.


Fans will be able to visit for lap-by-lap updates of all of the racing action including practice, qualifying, local division races, last chance races, the Snowflake 100 and the granddaddy of them all, the Snowball Derby on Sunday.


“We’ve listened to what our viewers have wanted and now we are going to give it to them with complete Trackside Now coverage of the Snowball Derby,” said Bob Dillner, Executive Editor.  “We feel it is the biggest pavement short track race of the year and we hope, by looking at this coverage, people will want to come to the race in the future.  Our still will work hard to keep everyone updated who may not be able to make it his year.”


Within the coverage, fans will find behind-the-scenes information and photos from the pit area, the race track and all over the Pensacola, Florida facility.


For 15 years, has been committed to bringing coverage of the Snowball Derby to fans all over the world.  That coverage will only be enhanced for the 49th running of the race in December.
