One of the biggest race weeks of the year is about to get underway in Florida and Speed51.com powered by JEGS will be your go-to place to keep up with all the action. Over the course of the next two weeks, Speed51.com will offer both live and on-demand coverage from four different race tracks in the Sunshine State.
Whether it’s the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway, DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park, Winter Nationals at Orlando Speedworld or the Tour-Type Modified special event at Bronson Speedway, Speed51.com will have it covered.
On Thursday, Speed51 will begin its coverage of the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing with Trackside Now Coverage of practice day presented by LFR Chassis and JRi Shocks.
From there, beginning on Friday, February 12, Speed51.com will power the live blog-style Race Central Live updates for NASCAR Home Tracks. That form of coverage will be available for all nine nights of racing at New Smyrna Speedway including the season opener for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East on Sunday, February 14.
If you prefer to watch the racing action live from New Smyrna, Speed51.com will have you covered there as well. For eight of the nine nights of racing at the historic Florida half-mile, Speed51 TV will be producing the live broadcast for FansChoice.TV. Each broadcast will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. ET and the only night that will not be broadcast will be the K&N East season opener.
These broadcasts, which will be available for free, will include Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, Tour-Type Modifieds, Sportsman and more. Beginning on Friday, February 12, visit FansChoice.TV to watch.
Speed51’s coverage will extend beyond New Smyrna Speedway throughout Florida Speedweeks. For four nights, Speed51.com will have live Speed Central updates, as well as post-race video highlights from the SuperDIRT Car Big Block Modifieds at Volusia Speedway Park. Fans will be able to follow along for live updates throughout the day on Speed51.com before catching the full race highlights after the race on the Speed51 Network.
A new event will take place during Florida Speedweeks this year with Bronson Speedway hosting their inaugural Tour-Type Modified race, and Speed51.com will be there to cover the ground-pounding Modified action. Fans can tune into 51’s Speed Central updates during the event before watching video highlights on the Speed51 Network.
In addition to offering live coverage of the big cars, Speed51 TV will offer a pay-per-view broadcast of the U.S. Legend Cars Winter Nationals at Orlando Speedworld. The Winter Nationals, which features Legends and Bandolero cars, takes place February 15-19 and gives race fans the opportunity to watch the sports’ rising stars. Fans will be able to purchase a live steam of the race on Speed51.com for $14.99 per day or $59.99 for a five-day package.
“As a kid I always loved getting my racing paper the following week and look to see what my favorite drivers did during Florida Speedweeks,” said Bob Dillner, Executive Editor for Speed51.com. “Now things are a lot different. At Speed51.com, we try to balance the immediacy of news distribution with a professional journalistic diligence to the work we perform. Bottom line is, Florida Speedweeks is one of the most exciting times of the year and we’ll have it all, from dirt to pavement, including Mods, Super Late Models, Legend Cars and more.”
Of course, we invite fans and drivers to check in with our PFC Brakes Twitter and Five Star Facebook Feed throughout the next few weeks as we will deliver race updates and unique photography through our social media outlets as well.
