This weekend marks the richest race in ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series history, as racers from the ULTIMATE Heart of America, Mid-Ohio Valley and Southeast regions will compete in the Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge Memorial at Richmond Raceway (KY). While there is no replacement to watching ULTIMATE’s stars compete for $20,059 in person, Speed51 will broadcast racing from both nights of the Butterball Memorial for fans unable to make the trip.
Friday’s preliminary racing will be available to premium members (monthly or yearly) of the Speed51 Network as part of Summer Thunder TV presented by PFC Brakes. There will be no additional cost beyond a monthly or yearly membership to watch Friday’s broadcast.
Saturday’s feature racing will be a pay-per-view broadcast available for $24.99.
Traditionally, yearly premium members receive a 10% discount on pay-per-view purchases, which would reduce the price of Saturday’s pay-per-view ticket to $22.49. For this race, however, we are also extending that offer to monthly premium members. Whether you pay $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year for a premium membership to the Speed51 Network, you’ll be able to watch Friday’s broadcast, and also receive $2.50 off your purchase of Saturday’s racing.
The Butterball Memorial is the highest-paying race in the history of the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series, and will bring out the biggest names from three regions of the ULTIMATE banner. With seven different winners in the last seven editions of the Butterball Memorial, there will undoubtedly be a wide-open pool of contenders for the big-money win.
The event begins Friday, August 16 with qualifying and heat races. The fast qualifier will take home a $250 bonus, while top finishers in Friday’s heat races will lock in to the Butterball Memorial feature field.
Saturday’s program will include B-Mains to complete the Butterball Memorial grid ahead of the 59-lap, $20,059-to-win feature.
