Speed51 has broadcast racing from Montgomery Motor Speedway for several years now. That partnership is growing in 2020, with Speed51 named the Official Video Home of Montgomery Motor Speedway.
Speed51 will provide broadcasts throughout the season from the Alabama half-mile, including the Alabama 200, a Southern Super Series event, the Show Me the Money Pro Late Model Series and the Modifieds of Mayhem. There will also be highlights, recaps and much move on-demand video content from Montgomery during the 2020 season.
“Montgomery Motor Speedway is one of the truly historic racing venues in the Deep South, and has an action-packed schedule each and every year,” said Speed51 Content Supervisor Zach Evans. “Being able to partner with Stan Narrison and the team at Montgomery is an exciting opportunity, and we can’t wait to treat fans to their brand of racing.”
For Montgomery Motor Speedway General Manager Stan Narrison, the partnership is an exciting extension of a long-standing relationship with Speed51 President Bob Dillner.
“I’ve been working with Bob Dillner kind of from the start there back when I was at Lanier National Speedway,” Narrison said. “I always give him a hard time that he needs to give me special attention because I took his phone calls then. I look forward to this year with Speed51. I’m excited about come of the changes that are coming, and I really like the fact that a national audience gets to see our brand of racing.
Narrison is also thrilled to have the nationwide exposure of the Speed51 audience, reaching far beyond those able to make the trip to Montgomery on a Saturday night.
“When I look at some of the numbers and see where some of these viewers are coming from, it’s pretty exciting. It means that somebody out there knows about Montgomery Motor Speedway and the short track racing events we put on. Speed51 has done a great job with the broadcasting of those events and letting people see that we have a beautiful facility here with beautiful lighting and great racing all together.”
Montgomery Motor Speedway’s 2020 season kicks off on Saturday, March 7 with the Alabama 200. Entries are already being filed for that race, with more on the way.
Stay tuned to Speed51 for updates and more regarding that major Pro Late Model event, as well as the rest of the 2020 Montgomery Motor Speedway season.
