Short track racers and fans, gear up for one of the most exciting announcements in the history of short track racing coverage.  Speed51.com, powered by JEGS, is now taking things to a whole new level with the launch of the highly anticipated #TheNew51.

Speed51.com is now a fully responsive site to any platform and device.  The fully-custom layout uses the web's top technology, which will allow the 51 team to cover short track racing throughout North America like never before.  In fact, Speed51.com has adopted a new slogan in the design process of the site... 100% Short Track Racing.

“This will allow us to cover more events, track and series than ever before,” said Bob Dillner, owner of Speed51.com and NASCAR TV broadcaster for FOX Sports.  “The site is better to read.  It will also allow fans of one particular division to access the news they want so much easier by going to the section of their category of race car.  It enables us to update more news quicker than ever with the help of our partner Turn 2 Media and the site also showcases our advertisers in a much better fashion.”

Short Track Racing fans can easily search for stories that interest them.  If they are a fan of Late Models, Modifieds, Stock Cars, Dirt Cars, Small Cars or other divisions they can go to those specific areas of #TheNew51.

A new search feature on the homepage of Speed51.com (upper-right hand corner) will also allow fans to type in the name of their favorite driver, race track or series to easily bring up the news that interests them.  A quick search of the terms, “Bowman Gray Stadium”, “ACT Tour” or “Bubba Pollard” will give fans exactly what they are looking for with one simple click of the mouse.

Fans can also share the stories on social media easily by clicking the Facebook or Twitter buttons on the bottom of each story page.

"We wanted #TheNew51 to be like no other short track racing news website," said Matt Kentfield, Speed51.com Executive Director.  “We've always been the leaders of short track news and live coverage, but our site and reach had grown out of what our longtime website technology could handle.  Now with our new site, fans and racers can find anything and everything that has to do with short track racing in one place.  It will also allow us to start introducing some cool new features that will totally revolutionize the short track industry."

On race day, fans will still be able to make their way to Speed51.com and easily find live Trackside Now coverage of events they are looking to follow.  With behind-the-scenes information, lap-by-lap coverage, photos and more, Speed51’s Trackside Now format will continue to be the industry leader in live online event coverage.

Speed51.com will be making more announcements in the coming days regarding aspects that will continue to revolutionize short track racing coverage.  In addition to that, Speed51.com will also have some news involving new partnerships which will bring a new form of coverage to the site.
