I remember sending press releases back in 2002 when Speed51 first began, and to see how it has grown over the last 20 years is truly amazing. I’ve been a part of the company in various roles throughout the years, but I’m very happy to officially become part of this great team. Speed51 was at the forefront of streaming race coverage in the early 2010’s and I hope that I can help in continuing to make Speed51.TV the leader in grassroots racing coverage.” – Alan Dietz
Keeler, a Massachusetts native who now resides in North Carolina, brings 17 years of experience in the motorsports industry to the Speed51 team.
After joining the Speed51 team as a reporter in 2012, he worked as a correspondent in the state of Florida through the 2014 season. Since moving to the Charlotte area in 2015 to manage operations at Speed51, Keeler has had a hand in almost all the live race broadcasts produced by the company.
In his new role, Keeler will be responsible for managing Speed51’s in-house studio, leading on-site operations, technical supervision of all live broadcasts on Speed51.TV and event planning/scheduling.
Watching Speed51 grow over the last 10 years, and to be a part of that development has been a privilege. I’m excited to work with our entire team as we continue to grow and shine a spotlight on the sport that we all love, short track racing. – Mark Keeler
