Notebook:

-Jon McKennedy won last time out at Speedway 51 in Groveton, NH.

This is the fourth event of 2016 and the only at Seekonk Speedway.

-Richard Savary is the defending MRS race winner at Seekonk. He also won the Tri-Track Modified event last July. He is going for his third straight at the “Cement Palace”. Savary was fastest in final practice.

-Chase Dowling is making his first MRS appearance of the season, he is driving a Bob Katon car which last saw action in 2015 on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour with Ted Christopher. He was late getting out for practice as the team had to make some additions to the roll cage to meet MRS rules.

-Dan Meservey led the second practice and Woody Pitkat led the first.
