What Won the Race:

The high side was key in tonight’s feature event. Ryan Godown passed Grant Hilfiger on the top to take the lead and the win.

The Skinny:

After Woodhull Raceway aces Grant Hilfiger and  Donnie Lawson battled for the lead for the majority of the race, outsiders Andy Bachetti  and Ryan Godown challenged for the race lead. Bachetti would go around on the top side trying to take the lead, setting up a big restart with 12 laps to go. Godown would pass Hilfiger for the race lead with 8 laps to go and run away to claim the $5,200 payday.

Winning Quote:

“We just made it happen. I was able to get up to the top and get a good run off and get next to him by the flag stand on the bottom. Then obviously you have the preferred lane and just tried to hit out marks from there.”
