What Won the Race:

Starting on the pole and getting out in front of the field from the drop of the green flag helped Ryan Godown to claim the $8,888 victory. A flat tire for I-88 Speedway ace Andy Bachetti on lap 21 made a spectacular show for the fans, but Bachetti would come up just one position shy of claiming the victory.

On the Move:

Jerry Higbie (25th to 9th) and Tommy Meier (20th to 6th) were the guys on the move from the back of the field to take home nice finishes

Andy Bachetti put on the show of the night after a flat tire at lap 21 sent him to the rear of the field. Bachetti recovered by flying around the high side of the speedway coming home with a second-place finish.

 

Biggest Loser:

Jeff Heotzler felt the wrath of bad luck as his night went south dropping him from his eighth-place starting position to a 25th finishing position.

Five heat races will set the top 15 starting positions with the top 3 from each heat qualifying and the top 2 going to the redraw. There will be 3 consolation races to fill in the rest of the field.

 

Who To Watch For:

Dan Creeden and Andy Bachetti have been on a tear during the 2016 season at local dirt tracks collecting several wins, they will surely be contenders tonight and will look to battle for the Short Track Super Series point lead.
