Feature One Notebook: Burt Myers spent all day yesterday testing to get his car ready for tonight and it has paid off. He led flag-to-flag with no real contenders for the lead. This is his first SMRS Mod win of the 2017 season and is looking to go two-for-two tonight. The top six finishers will be inverted for the start of the second race. The rest of the finishers will start where they finished in the first race.
Feature Two Notebook: After a redraw of six from the finish of the first main, Burt Myers had to muscle his way up to the lead. Jeremy Gerstner as able to keep him at bay, until the final five laps when B. Myers was able to work around Gerstner on the high side to sail on with his second victory of the night.
Pre-Feature Notebook: -There will be twin 50 lap mains for the SMRS Mods tonight

What Won the First Race: Burt Myers qualified on the pole and led every lap.
What Won the Second Race: Burt Myers was able to work around Jeremy Gerstner for the lead with five laps to go as Gerstner said his car was just too tight to hold off the hard charging Burt Myers.

The Skinny: From the drop of the very first green flag, Burt Myers was in a league of his own. He picked up the first win of the night in dominating fashion. B. Myers led flag-to-flag to park it in victory lane. The second race for Burt Myers was a different story, he had to fight from the sixth position after a redraw from the first race. But the lose in track position didn’t keep Myers from getting to victory lane for the second time in the same night.

On the Move: In the first race, Danny Bohn moved up from the sixth spot to the second position. In the second race, Burt Myers was the biggest mover. He started sixth, drove up to the lead, and won the race.
Biggest Loser: In the first race, Jason Myers broke a rear end while passing Tim Brown for the second spot. In the second race, Danny Bohn started in the fourth spot and fell all the way back to 10th.
