What Won the Race: When early race leader Trent Young fell victim to a mechanical failure, David Stremme inherited the lead.

Winning Quote: “It feels really good to finally get one (this year),” Stremme told Speed51.com powered by JEGS.  “We had a pretty rough speedweeks after wrecking the car in Georgia, but we went back to work and finally saw some success tonight.”

The Skinny: David Stremme ran in second for the first half of the 30 feature event.  When Trent Young’s car broke, Stremme captured the lead on lap 16.  Stremme withstood a charge from point leader Taylor Cook, but was able to pull away in the final dozen laps to win by four-car-lengths.
