Who to Watch For:
Underdog – TJ Brackett – He doesn’t have a great history in long-distance races, but he was mighty fast on his way to winning Saturday night’s 50-lap Super Late Model race at Oxford. Eventually things will go his way in a long-distance race.
Favorite – Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. – Pole dominated much of the PASS Open here at Oxford and also led laps in a PASS race earlier this year. He also split the win in this race with Wayne Helliwell, Jr. one year ago.
Dark Horse – Curtis Gerry – It’s hard to call him a dark horse considering he’s a NASCAR State Champion at Beech Ridge, but not many people would consider him a favorite at Oxford. However, speed is speed and Gerry has had plenty of that lately with three wins at Beech Ridge.
Title Fight: Ben Rowe leads Travis Benjamin by three markers and Glen Luce by four.
The Track: Oxford Plains Speedway is a flat 3/8-mile oval located in Oxford, ME.
Weather: Bright blue skies and temperatures in the high 70s.
Next Series Race: PASS North will visit Lee USA Speedway next Friday, August 4.
