What Won the Race: Curtis Gerry took the lead on Lap 127 following the competition caution and never looked back en route to his fourth straight PASS North victory in races he’s competed in.

The Skinny: Garrett Hall dominated the early portion of the race before Travis Benjamin took the lead on Lap 124, one lap before the planned competition caution. Three laps later, Curtis Gerry charged to the lead and never looked back.

On the Move: Reid Lanpher started 24th (last) after a issue in post-qualifying techinical inspection and charged to second, a gain of 22 positions.
Biggest Loser: Dan McKeage started eighth but was forced to the pit area early and finished 23rd, a loss of 15 positions.
-Glen Luce was fastest in the final round of PASS North practice.
-A handful of Maine drivers including Jeff White and Brad Babb have decided to join the touring series stars today.
-Today’s PASS 200 replaces the PASS 300 that is typically held at Beech Ridge each year. It is a six-tire race with teams having the option to change two tires during the race.
-Reid Lanpher was DQ’d in post-qualifying tech for being too low. He will start at the rear of the field for today’s PASS 200.

Qualifying Format: There will be three qualifying heat races to set the field for today’s PASS 200. The field will start straight up based on results, with the exception of last weekend’s winner Curtis Gerry and Thompson winner Derek Griffith. Since they each have a PASS North win, they can start no better than 11th.
Event Schedule: The Northeast Mini Stock Tour, PASS Modifieds and Classic Lites join the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models here today. Each division will run qualifying heats and features. The PASS 200 is scheduled to be last on the schedule.
Who to Watch For: It’s hard to ignore Curtis Gerry with his recent flat track success at both Oxford Plains and Beech Ridge. Last year’s Beech Ridge track champion Reid Lanpher and Scarborough, ME’s Garrett Hall will also be drivers to keep an eye on. When it comes to the touring series stars, Travis Benjamin has enjoyed success at Beech Ridge in recent years.
Title Fight: DJ Shaw currently leads Derek Griffith by 12 points in the PASS North standings.
The Track: Beech Ridge Motor Speedway is a 1/3-mile oval located in Scarborough, ME.
Weather: It’s a great Spring day for racing with temperatures in the high 50s and a slight breeze in the air.
Next Series Race: The PASS North Super Late Models will head to the Star Speedway bullring next Saturday, May 5.
