Qualifying Format: There will be three qualifying heat races to set the field for today’s PASS 200. The field will start straight up based on results, with the exception of last weekend’s winner Curtis Gerry and Thompson winner Derek Griffith. Since they each have a PASS North win, they can start no better than 11th.

Event Schedule: The Northeast Mini Stock Tour, PASS Modifieds and Classic Lites join the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models here today. Each division will run qualifying heats and features. The PASS 200 is scheduled to be last on the schedule.

Who to Watch For: It’s hard to ignore Curtis Gerry with his recent flat track success at both Oxford Plains and Beech Ridge.  Last year’s Beech Ridge track champion Reid Lanpher and Scarborough, ME’s Garrett Hall will also be drivers to keep an eye on.  When it comes to the touring series stars, Travis Benjamin has enjoyed success at Beech Ridge in recent years.

Title Fight: DJ Shaw currently leads Derek Griffith by 12 points in the PASS North standings.

The Track: Beech Ridge Motor Speedway is a 1/3-mile oval located in Scarborough, ME.

Weather: It’s a great Spring day for racing with temperatures in the high 50s and a slight breeze in the air.

Next Series Race: The PASS North Super Late Models will head to the Star Speedway bullring next Saturday, May 5.

Speed Central: PASS North 200 at Beech Ridge (ME)
