What Won the Race: Rowan Pennink battled hard with Eric Goodale after a restart with 32 laps to go, eventually passing for the lead after the two banged wheels a little. Pennink held off a late charge by Woody Pitkat for his career MTS victory.

The Finish:

1 25 Rowan Pennink 125
2 52 Woody Pitkat 125
3 58 Eric Goodale 125
4 99 Richard Savary 125
5 43 Kirk Alexander 125
6 9 Tommy Barrett 125
7 15CT Chris Pasteryak 125
8 13 Cameron Sontagg 125
9 0 Mike Holdridge 125
10 21 Les Hinckley 125
11 M6 Dylan Kopec 124
12 29 Russ Hersey 93
13 35 Dylan Izzo 93
14 15NH TJ Bleau 91
15 1 Carl Medeiros, Jr. 45

The Skinny: While Kirk Alexander led the majority of the race, Rowan Pennink spun twice in the race’s first half. After Alexander spun after contact with Eric Goodale, Pennink charged forward with a slightly fresher right-rear tire and got by Goodale on a crossover move after battling side by side on a Lap 93 restart.

Winning Quote: It’s good to be back in victory lane with the 25 car, we’ve had a lot of strong runs this year, good to get a win under our belts.

On the Move: Woody Pitkat recovered from a sub par heat race to come from 11th to finish the feature second.

Biggest Loser: Les Hinckley started third but got into a mid-race wreck which put him back to finish tenth.

Feature Notebook:

-Race distance is 125 laps.

-Teams allowed one fresh tire to change per race.

Pre-Feature Notebook:

-Russ Hersey is running his own car but renumbered to 29 to earn points for Jon McKennedy who is racing ISMA Supermodifieds tonight.

-Cameron Sontagg was originally supposed to score points for Ryan Preece, but decided against it. Preece will try to race his way into the Championship Race during the remaining Quest races.

-TJ Bleau had a severe oil leak in practice, the team is attempting to seal the leak.

-Tommy Barrett, Jr has been battling overheating woes, the team put in a fresh radiator after the heat races.
