What Won the Race:
Dan Fredrickson held off a very quick Ty Majeski in lapped traffic to win the Thunderstruck 93.

Chris Marek led the field to the green flag, but with 77 laps to go Dan Fredrickson took the lead. Fredrickson was able to gain up to a three second lead over the field, but a caution with 50 to go helped Ty Majeski catch up. Fredrickson had to negotiate with lapped traffic, and hold off Majeski for the win.

Ty Majeski started 13th after the invert tonight, but was able to make his way up to second after just 60 laps.
Chris Marek started at the front of the field, but fell to 21st (unofficially) after a problem and contact with the outer wall.

-Ty Majeski went to a back up car after something in the rear end broke coming out of turn four during the first practice. This car was run at the Snowball Derby, and was last ran at Gateway.
-Chris Weinkauf (75) led both practices today. The best time of the day was 13.910 set by him. Derek Kraus has the second best time with a 13.935.
-Feature shortened from 125 laps down to 93 laps due to possible weather.

-Ty Majeski (91) led this race one year ago, he also leads the ARCAMT point standings over Paul Schafer Jr. by 27 points. He will be a major contender for tonight.
-Jacob Goede (72) won his 3rd consecutive track championship at Elko this year, and could be a major player to disrupt the regulars in the field.
Ty Majeski currently leads Paul Schafer Jr. by 27 points. Casey Johnson sits in third place 56 points behind them.
Elko Speedway is a 3/8 mile, high-banked, asphalt oval circuit located in South Central Minnesota.
