Pre-Feature Notebook:
Current ARCAMT point leader Ty Majeski is absent from tonight’s event. Majeski is competing for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series National Championship at Elko Speedway in Elko, MN.
ARCA Midwest Tour Promoter Gregg McKarns supports his decision.
“Ty and I spoke, while I would like him here I understand and support him going for the NASCAR title. He will be back with us at Elko on September 24th,” Mckarns said. “He had a tough decision today, it’s not every season a driver finds himself in a position to contend for a national NASCAR title. We support him fully and wish him luck. Meanwhile, we have 29 top notch cars ready to battle at the Dells tonight, it will be a great show.”
John DeAngelis went to a back up car after experiencing brake issues with his primary car.
Dennis Prunty was the fastest in first practice. Travis Sauter was quick in the final practice.

Who to Watch For: If there was Las Vegas odds for this race, many would say that Travis Sauter would be an even money bet. Dalton Zehr has had strong runs driving for Dan Lensing. Casey Johnson and Paul Shafer Jr. are taking advantage of an opportunity for the championship chase.
Title Fight: Ty Majeski has a 112-point lead coming into tonight over Paul Shafer Jr. Shafer is making his first ever visit to Dells Raceway Park. With Majeski not here tonight, Shafer will need to learn this track quick in order to cut into Majeski’s lead. Casey Johnson is 146 points behind the leader.
The Track: Dells Raceway Park is located northeast from the “Waterpark Capital of the World.” The 1/3-mile oval has a rich history. Dick Trickle has many feature wins at this track.
Weather: Sunny, in the mid 70’s. Lows in the mid 60’s tonight.
Next Series Race: Saturday, September 24th at Elko Speedway in Elko, MN.
