As the 2015 Southern Super Series presented by Sunoco season enters the stretch run of its championship battle, fans and racers alike can keep up-to-speed on the popular Super Late Model touring series better than ever with the launch of an all-new SouthernSuperSeries.com website.
Produced by longtime series media partner 51 Sports of Concord, North Carolina, the new SouthernSuperSeries.com features an updated layout, racer and fan-friendly resources including race day schedules, track and event information, a social media hub and more. The new site allows everyone with a passion for fast, hard-nosed short track racing to keep in tune with the action of the Southern Super Series.
“We’re excited to collaborate with 51 Sports to launch our new Southern Super Series website,” said Tim Bryant, SSS Series Director. “We’ve had a wonderful relationship with 51 Sports and their Speed51.com news site for many years and this is just the latest project that we’ve had the pleasure of working with Bob Dillner and his team on.
“With this new site, our partnership has built an information base that will keep content fresh and interesting. As we move forward, there’s a lot of exciting things going on with the Southern Super Series and our new website will be the hub of all the news, information, statistics and multimedia that will reflect the exciting present and future of the series.”
51 Sports, the parent company of the “100% Short Track Racing” news source Speed51.com, partnered with the Southern Super Series for the tour’s inaugural season in 2013 and has provided several promotional and exposure-driving resources to the SSS in the years since, with more exciting announcements coming soon about enhanced exposure for the series.
“We’ve enjoyed a great relationship with the tracks, drivers and management of the Southern Super Series since its inception,” said 51 Sports owner and motorsports broadcaster Bob Dillner. “The action of the Southern Super Series is a must-see for any race fan and racers are quick to point out that the on-track product is as tough as it gets in short track racing. Our 51 Sports team is proud to provide even more exposure for the series and its tracks, sponsors, drivers and teams with the new site and in other ways that we’ll be revealing in the coming days.”
The new SouthernSuperSeries.com has launched in time for the upcoming Sunoco Gulf Coast Championship doubleheader weekend for the Southern Super Series. The Super Late Model tour will visit Five Flags Speedway for the Miller Lite 100, which is also a part of the track’s Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series on Friday, July 24. Then on Saturday, July 25, the teams will hit the road for Mobile International Speedway in Irvington, Alabama for the Miller Lite Series/Southern Super Series 100.
Speed51.com, the official media partner of the Southern Super Series, will have live Trackside Now coverage of both events.
Fans in the greater Pensacola/Mobile market and beyond can get ticket information for the Gulf Coast Doubleheader events at both www.5flagsspeedway.com and www.mobilespeedway.net.
