FAYETTEVILLE, TN-The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series has been like everybody else in the racing business this year dodging rain, moving dates and trying to get the 2015 season underway. The first big weekend for the series to open up got split into two separate weekends and now that weekend is here with the 13th Annual March Madness at the Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC. Sunday afternoon March 29th the race will be a 60 lap green flag event paying $7,500 to the winner and $600 to start.


Drivers that are expected to be in action include three time Southern All Star champion and winner of the Bama Bash Randy Weaver of Crossville, TN., defending and tow time Southern All Stars champion Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, TN., Todd Morrow of East Ridge, TN., two time Southern All Star champion Chris Madden of Gray Court, SC., 2014 Southern All Star rookie of the year Chris Wilson of Crossville, TN., 2015 Southern All Star rookie of the year candidate Dillon Tidmore of Glencoe, AL., Dennis “Rambo” Franklin of Gaffney, SC., Austin Kirkpatrick of Ocala, FL., Donald Bradsher of Burlington, NC., and Chris Ferguson of Mt Holly, NC., along with many more drivers from across the southeast.
