The week of the Snowball Derby is one of the most exciting and tense times in short track racing, with race teams and fans descending on Pensacola, Florida every December for one of the biggest prizes of the short track season. But before drivers and crews get down to business at Five Flags Speedway on Wednesday, November 30, they will be heading downtown for the 8th Annual Snowball Derby Kickoff Party on Tuesday, November 29.
Tracy Goodson’s Beef ‘O’ Brady’s on 22 S. Palafox Street in scenic downtown Pensacola, will play host to an evening with fun, food, drinks and some of the top short track drivers in the country.
Once again Speed51.com will be offering a free Snowball Derby Kickoff Show presented by JRi Shocks. The broadcast on 51TV will feature driver interviews, activities and more for all those race fans who can’t make it out.
For those who can make it out, the night offers a chance to mingle with the drivers and teams, score some autographs and have a front row seat for the show.
Ty Majeski, Derek Thorn, Dalton Sargeant, Todd Gilliland and Grant Enfinger are just a handful of the drivers expected to be in attendance.
