COEBURN, Va. – The final checkered flag of the season will fly this Saturday, September 20 at Lonesome Pine Raceway. Six championships still remain undecided heading into the season finale.

Chad Finchum of Knoxville, TN currently leads the LMSC championship standings by 32 points over Ryan Stiltner. Finchum must remain consistent on Saturday to clinch his second Late Model Stock title.

Kirby Gobble has won eight Street Stock features this season, but right on his tail has been Rob Austin. Gobble holds a 20-point advantage over Austin.

Joshua Gobble has used consistency to remain atop the Mod-4 division standings this season. Gobble leads by 16 points over Rocky Yates going into the final race.

John Ketron has been nothing less than dominant this season. Ketron has clinched the Pure-4 championship at Kingsport (Tenn.) Speedway and currently leads the standings at LPR by 14 points over his son, Jason Ketron.

Jackson Austin hasn’t made it to Victory Lane this season in the Rookie Pure-4 division, but he has been consistent to remain the points leader. But so has Michael Nelson, who trails in second-place by 36 points.

Duke Bare has clinched the Pure Street title at Kingsport Speedway, and with one race remaining at LPR this season, he leads by eight points over Nasty Jones.

Elvis McCoy has officially claimed the 2014 Iron Warriors championship.

Twin 40-lap features for the Wallace KIA LMSC division will highlight the night. Action-packed racing will also be featured in Street Stock, Mod-4, Pure-4, Rookie Pure-4 and Pure Street/Iron Warriors divisions.

Pit gates open Saturday at 1 p.m., grandstands open at 4 p.m., and racing begins at 7 p.m. Adult admission is $10, with children 12-and-under admitted free.

The season finale for Kingsport Speedway is scheduled Friday, September 19. A 100-lap LMSC race will highlight the night. With racing in Street Stock, Pure-4, Rookie Pure-4, Legends, and a 30-lap non-winners dash for LMSC drivers without a win this season.
