More and more races are being added to the Summer Thunder TV schedule presented by PFC Brakes and now another dirt race has been added to an already stacked lineup of events. When the Big Block Modifieds of the Short Track Super Series head to New York’s Accord Speedway for the Battle at the Bullring 5 on Monday, July 3, Speed51 TV’s cameras will be there to bring the action to race fans around the globe.

Monday’s race will be a 50-lap showdown on the 1/4-mile New York bullring. The winner will receive a nice $5,000 check as part of a total purse payout of $22,000.  The event is the fourth on the schedule for the STSS North Region division.

300x250 Summer Thunder 2017.07.01 New ParisStewart Friesen is the most recent STSS winner and he moved into the points lead as a result. “Mr. Freeze” took the victory in the Afton Action 50 at Afton Motorsports Park (NY) just over one week ago.

Prior to Friesen’s win, Anthony Perrego took the victory at Thunder Mountain Speedway (NY) and Andy Bachetti rolled into victory lane on the “Hard Clay” of Orange County Fair Speedway (NY).

All three of those drivers are expected to be competing on Monday, as well as Rick Laubach, Jeremy Smith, Billy Decker, Danny Creeden, Tommy Meier, Ryan Godown and more.

The Summer Thunder TV series presented by PFC Brakes is available exclusively to premium members of the Speed51 Video Network. Fans can become premium members for as low as $7.99 a month and $59.99 a year by clicking here.
