Speed51’s Short Track America returns tonight at 7 p.m. ET on MAVTV with a two-hour special from the FASTRAK World Championship at Virginia Motor Speedway. The FASTRAK Racing Series makes their network television debut with the $50,000-to-win show, which drew more than 100 cars for what was billed ‘The Richest Pro Late Model race in history.’
The first hour will feature heat races from the opening night of the FASTRAK World Championship to set the field for the A-Main via passing points. The second hour will recap the B-Mains that rounded out the starting lineup, followed by the 75-lap FASTRAK World Championship A-Main from the Jamaica, VA half-mile. The two-hour special on MAVTV will showcase all of the action with multiple camera angles, in-car cameras and exclusive interviews.
Speed51.com’s Bob Dillner will be joined in the booth by FASTRAK Racing Series PA announcer Wesley Outland to call all of the action, with Alan Dietz bringing race fans the biggest stories from the pits.
Fans who miss the FASTRAK World Championship on Speed51’s Short Track America will be able to catch a second airing of the race at 10 p.m. ET Wednesday night. Check your local listings and mavtv.com for details
