THOMPSON, CT – With the Mason-Dixon Meltdown in the history books, Dynasty Motorsports is solely focused on competing in 2016.
“Our only goal for this year is seat time,” said team owner and driver John-Michael Shenette. “With seat time come’s consistency, and with consistency comes success. We have the car and the resources to compete in the Pro All Stars Series, now it’s time to put our effort to good use and show results.”
In addition to the Karting 2 Conquer Cancer Go-Kart event in January, Dynasty Motorsports has also submitted an application for the Winter Meltdown at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in South Carolina. The race is the first Pro All Stars Series National and South event of the year, and will be held on February 6th.
“I was pretty disappointed after battling battery issues at Hickory in November, but was able to regain confidence after medical issues, and also got some great seat time,” says Shenette. We’re ready to battle hard at Greenville, a flat track with long straightaways that I hope drives like Devil’s Bowl in Vermont. I love flat race tracks and feel that we’ll put together a solid effort through qualifying and the race.”
Following the Winter Meltdown at Greenville, Shenette and the Dynasty Motorsports team plan to compete in the next two PASS National Championship Series events, the 11th Annual Easter Bunny 150 on March 26 at Hickory Motor Speedway in North Carolina and at their hometrack, the Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park for the Icebreaker. Shenette also plans to compete in the PASS North Super Late Model events in April at Oxford Plains Speedway and Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, both in Maine.
