While short track racing has been put on standstill during the COVID-19 pandemic, many teams are still hard at work in their shops during the down time. Whether it’s preparing for the upcoming season, catching up on much-needed upkeep, or taking on a restoration project, racers are staying busy during the hiatus.
Speed51 wants to hear from teams to see what projects they are accomplishing in the shop during this time. Whether your car is ready to go or you’re putting on the finishing touches, send us your pictures and stories using the hashtag #51ShopPics on social media so we can share your hard work.
Finding Speed51 on social media is easy. Visit our Five Star Bodies Facebook Feed at facebook.com/speed51, the Speed51 Twitter feed presented by PFC Brakes at @speed51dotcom, or on Instagram at @speed51dotcom.
Drivers and teams can also share their pictures and stories by emailing [email protected]. We will share many of these stories on Speed51, as well as Speed51’s social media platforms, over the coming days.
What odd jobs have been completed around the shop? How much work has gone into the race car? Maybe you have a new look for the 2020 season you can’t wait to show off once we go back racing?
With the #51ShopPics hashtag, drivers and teams will be able to share their progress, and fans will be able to show their support for their favorite drivers as we all eagerly await the return of short track racing.
Share your shop pictures today using the hashtag #51ShopPics and let us know what you’ve been doing since we were last on the race track.
Stay safe and wash your hands!
