The ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has brought a standstill to many aspects of everyday life, on and off the race track. Speed51 wants to know how racers and fans have spent their time away from the track.
Speed51 is looking to hear from drivers, teams and fans on what they are doing during the pandemic.
Do you find yourself with more time to pursue a different hobby? Have you, like many racers, taken up sim racing to fill the competitive void? Are you spending more time with family? Or does your day job away from racing qualify as “essential work” that has kept you just as busy as before?
Regardless what your story may be, we want to hear from you during this time. To share your story or video, email [email protected]d51.com. We will share many of these stories on Speed51, as well as Speed51’s social media platforms, over the coming days.
Feel free to share what unexpected challenges you have faced, as well as pleasant surprises. Have you adapted to a new lifestyle over the past few weeks, or are you still struggling to find a “new normal?” How much time is still being spent in the race shop, eagerly awaiting the next race?
Ultimately, the short track racing family is a tight-knit one, and we want to hear from those in the family. We’d love to hear your stories, and share them with fellow racers and fans.
Remember to email [email protected] with your stories, photos, videos or whatever else you have to share, or reach out to Speed51 on social media.
Stay safe and wash your hands!
