Wilson N.C. — Southeast Dirt Modified Series officials are pleased to announce that in 2017 the tour will fly under the DIRTcar Racing banner in the Southern region.

All 2017 SEDMS points-counting races will count towards UMP regional points for registered members. Once a drivers earns the minimum race requirement set forth by DirtCar Racing, the driver will then earn valuable National points.

The sanction for the series also means going to the M30 and M60 compounds. The tires will be available to race teams March 1st 2017.

Rules for UMP Modifieds are expected to be released within the first couple of weeks of January. We are excited to be a part of DirtCar Racing in 2017 with hopes that we are able to build this division in the Southern region.

More news and the 2017 schedule will be posted soon.
