The first piece of the 2021 ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series season has been revealed, with the flagship Southeast Region committed to 20 out of an intended 24 races being announced, with an additional bonus event. In all, the points races will cover 13 different tracks in four states across the region.
Breaking the ice in February will be one of the highest paying races of the year, with “Winter Freeze XI” boasting a $10,000 check to the winner at Screven Motor Speedway in Georgia on Saturday, February 6.
Back for 2021 will be a pair of $15,000-to-win events at Virginia Motor Speedway, which was kept closed by state and local COVID-19 restrictions in 2020. The first visit is set for Saturday, May 15 for the “King of the Commonwealth.” ULTIMATE Southeast returns to Virginia on Saturday, August 7 for the “USA. 100”.
All ULTIMATE Southeast teams will also have a chance at earning bonus points towards the season in the flagship round of the ULTIMATE Heart of America Series, the $20,059 to win “Butterball Memorial” at Kentucky’s Richmond Raceway on August 20 & 21.
