The 2020 racing season at the historic Five Flags Speedway will be jam-packed with racing action and fun for the entire family. Officials from the track in Pensacola, Florida recently announced 18 dates throughout the year of a variety of forms of motorsports, including the 53rd Annual Snowball Derby on December 2 – 6.
2020 will be the 17th year of the Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series. Many of the top Super Late Model teams and drivers will make their way to the Panhandle of Florida on four occasions this year. The Blizzard Series will begin later than in recent years, with the first installment on Friday, April 24. The second and third events of the mini-series will occur in the middle of the summer, on the Friday nights of June 19 and July 31.
The Blizzard Series finale will once again be a double-header with the Allen Turner Pro Late Models on Saturday, September 26. The Blizzard Series champion, or quite possibly a driver in the top 10 in points, will be guaranteed a spot in the Snowball Derby if he or she does not qualify into the race.
The Blizzard Series is also part of the Southern Super Series presented by Sunoco. You can view their season schedule here.
The Allen Turner Pro Late Models will also have four dates at Five Flags Speedway in 2019. In addition to the finale on September 26, the Pro Late Models will also compete at the half-mile oval on April 10, June 5 and August 28.
The ARCA Menards Series East will make an appearance at Five Flags on March 14. Local divisions joining the card are the Faith Chapel Outlaws and Lloyd’s Glass Pure Stocks. The Vore’s Compact Touring Series will also venture south for a non-points event with automatic A-Main starting spots at Bristol Motor Speedway on the line.
Tickets for the big event to begin the month of March can be purchased by calling the ARCA Ticket Hotline at 850-941-4343.

The Modifieds of Mayhem will appear three times at Five Flags Speedway this year. They will headline the racing card on May 22 and July 17. The track will play host to the season finale on Friday night of the Snowball Derby weekend once again.
The Snowball Derby Preview will take place on Saturday, November 21, just two weeks before the season-closing event.
