Schedule Alert: Five Flags Speedway Unveils 2021 Slate of Racing

Five Flags Speedway has released its 2021 season schedule, with 17 nights of racing at the Pensacola half-mile before all eyes turn towards the biggest event in Super Late Model racing, the 54th Annual Snowball Derby.

Five Flags’ season opens with the ARCA Menards Series East Pensacola 200, taking place on February 27. The Vores Compact Touring Series will also be at Five Flags for that event, along with the local Lloyd’s Glass Pure Stock division.

March 20 marks the return of the Sweat Hogg Grand Prix Enduro, entering its seventh running.  Two nights of local divisions will follow, with the Faith Chapel Outlaws, Pure Stocks, Dock of Pensacola Beach Sportsmen and Proxy Equipment Pro Trucks in action on April 2 and April 16.

The Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series kicks off its 2021 season on April 30, bringing in some of the top Pro Late Model talent from across the country.  The Pro Late Models will also race on May 21, August 20 and on October 2 as part of the second Night of Champions.

Of course, the Deep South Crane Blizzard Series will also conclude its season on October 2.  The Super Late Model track championship kicks off on June 4, with a doubleheader weekend also scheduled for July 23-24 for Blizzard Series competitors.

Winged Sprint Cars will tackle the fast half-mile on July 9, joining the Modifieds of Mayhem for a double dose of open-wheel excitement.  The Modifieds of Mayhem will also visit Five Flags Speedway on May 14 and crown its champion during Snowball Derby week.

The first Night of Champions, for Outlaws, Pro Trucks, Sportsmen and Pure Stocks, will take place on September 18.  While most racing at Five Flags Speedway takes place on Friday nights the two Night of Champions events will be contested on Saturdays.

All of this builds up to the Snowball Derby.  The Snowball Derby Preview will take place on November 20.  The S4th Annual Snowball Derby will be on December 2-5.
