Vernon, N.Y. – (July 3, 2016) – For the second consecutive night Brad Rouse of St. Catherines, Ontario – Canada stood tall in victory lane after the Ferris Mowers Race of Champions Sportsman 602 Dirt Sportsman Modified Series fueled by Sunoco feature at Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon, N.Y.

Rouse, who redrew the pole, slipped back in the field but battled back to pass Utica-Rome Speedway top-gun Rocky Warner of Gloversville, N.Y., on the bottom in the waning laps to capture his second consecutive victory in as many nights. The win came in Rouse’s first visit to the legendary Utica-Rome half-mile.

“This is big for us tonight,” stated Rouse once he climbed down from the roof of his Bicknell machine. “My guys volunteer and work hard to get us here. It feels really good to win here and to beat Rocky (Warner) like that, it’s just awesome. We started a bit too tight and the car got better as we went. I’m just excited about this win. We have had a great weekend.”

Rouse and Warner were followed to the line by Chris Johnson, Glenn Forward and Chris Mackey rounded out the top-five.
