Hattori Racing Enterprises (HRE) will be making their 8th start in the NASCAR K&N east series this coming weekend at Columbus motor speedway for the JEGS 150. The team is pleased to have driver Ross Chastain back and this time behind the wheel of the Toyoda Gosei, Toyota Camry.


Chastain is no stranger to short track racing. Prior to making his debuts in two of the three NASCAR national touring series (Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series), Chastain used to race late models in Florida capturing numerous wins and poles in his late model career.


HRE History: Hattori Racing Enterprises was founded in 2009 by Shigeaki Hattori, to give young drivers a chance to develop their talents and gain experience in quality equipment with a skilled and knowledgeable team.


A championship driver himself, Hattori earned the Formula Toyota title in Japan in 1994 he then later moved to the United Stated in 1995, where he competed in the Indy Racing league`s Indy Lights and IndyCar Series.  Hattori also raced in the Toyota Atlantic Series and in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
