Race teams, race fans, and concert goers from all over the country are headed to the Music City this weekend for Rockin’ & Racin’ at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville.  The event is a two-day show filled with racing from some of the best short trackers in the country in addition to music from Colt Ford and Trent Tomlinson.  On the card are the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, the CRA Super Series powered by JEGS, and the Southern Super Series presented by Sunoco.


graphic nashville north-stouth slm challengeThe entry lists are strong, as 37 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards drivers are scheduled to compete in the Music City 200.  2 countries, the US and Sweden are represented as well as 17 different states in the US.  The Super Late Model entry list has 38 cars on the list, representing 18 different states in the US.


Friday on track activity begins at 1:00 with practice for the ARCA/CRA Super Series powered by JEGS and the Southern Super Series presented by Sunoco.  At 5:30, the important single car qualifying runs will take place for both series to line their features for the night.  Feature action for the two top notch Super Late Model tours will begin at 7:00.  Following the racing action will be a driver autograph session and a concert in front of the main grandstands featuring music stars Colt Ford and Trent Tomlinson.


Everyone will be back this Saturday for the second event on the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards tour.  On track activity will begin at 12:15 with practice for ARCA as well as the two Super Late Model classes.  Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell is set for 4:15 on Saturday afternoon, with racing action scheduled for 5:45.  The first race will be a combined event for the Super Late Models known as the North-South Super Late Model challenge presented by Team Construction.  The Music City 200 for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards will begin at 8:00.
