Lancaster, New York — The Race of Champions Super Stock Series returns to action at Lancaster National Speedway this coming Saturday for Hunter Truck Sales Big Rig Night.
Tim Gullo of Elmira, N.Y., has had an outstanding season and currently leads the Race of Champions Super Stock Series standings.
“We’ve had a good year,” offered Gullo, who has claimed victory in three of four races to date. “We have a great team and a good package and it all just seems to be going in the right direction for us. Hopefully, it leads us to a championship, which is something we set our sights on from day one.”
Josh Hunter (2nd); Bobby Schosek (3rd); Dana Novoa (4th) and young driver Joel Gleason (5th) are all giving chase to Gullo in the championship standings.
Ithaca Gun Company, who are partnered with Super Stock driver, Tim Gullo of Elmira, N.Y., have announced also announced that this year’s Race of Champions Super Stock Series Champion will receive a historic Ithaca Model 37. The Race of Champions Super Stock Series joins Lancaster National Speedway’s weekly racing program this Saturday, which will be highlighted by the running of the Ken Heckler Tribute 51 for the Lancaster National Speedway Street Stocks in memory of Lancaster National Speedway official and former racer, Ken Heckler.
