Port Colborne, Ontario –– When the checkered flag waves Sunday night to conclude the first ever Ferris Mowers Race of Champions Dirt Sportsman 602 Series fueled by Sunoco event at the New Humberstone Speedway in Port Colborne, Ontario history will be made. The winner of the “Davidson Line Marking & Parking Lot Maintenance 50” will receive $1,000 and a guaranteed starting spot in the Sportsman season championship event on Saturday, September 10 at Utica-Rome Speedway as part of the New Yorker 200 weekend.

 

Brad Rouse of St. Catherines, Ontario fresh off a pair of victories to start the season will be on hand and ready to put his best foot forward against all comers.

 

“I’m excited about this,” began Rouse. “This fits our schedule and what we are looking to do and it gives us the opportunity as Sportsman racers to go to some new venues. There will be new and familiar faces to race with which will make it very interesting. It’s going to be an exciting night at Humberstone and I can’t wait to get going.”
