Rain Sets up Huge Oktoberfest Sunday

Due to persistent rain throughout the day, LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway track officials were forced to postpone Saturday’s racing to coorespond with Sunday’s regularly-scheduled events, setting up a busy day of racing on the final day of the 50th Annual Oktoberfest Weekend.

The ARCA Midwest Tour will hit the track at 9:00 a.m. CT for their only practice session. Racing will begin at 12:00 with preliminary races for the Big 8 Series, Cratetoberfest cars, and Last Chance races for the Midwest Dash Series and Big 8. The Cratetoberfest 602 feature will kick off main event racing, followed by the 38-lap Big 8 Series season finale. The Mid-American Stock Car Series, Vintage Stock Cars, and Midwest Dash Series will also run their feature events.

The ARCA Midwest Tour will go green with their 200-lap main event at approximately 3:00 as previously scheduled. Austin Nason leads Casey Johnson by a single point going into the race.

We will be live from LaCrosse at 10:00 a.m. CT for ARCA Midwest Tour qualifying and will remain live through the final checkered flag of the day. Click here to purchase your video ticket for Sunday’s big day of racing.
