The ARCA/CRA Super Series Bud St. Amant Memorial 125 at the Columbus Motor Speedway (OH) has been cancelled due to rain.  The race will not be rescheduled due to the lack of an open date for CRA and Columbus Motor Speedway.

A light rain began to fall just as local divisions were completing their practice session around 5 p.m. ET.  The rain stopped, the track crew worked to dry the track, and local divisions began to qualify soon thereafter.

But Mother Nature proved to be too much, as the rain came back before the Super Late Models could get on track to qualify.

The CRA Super Series did get on track earlier in the day for a one-hour practice session that was paced by Hunter Baize.  Matt Hall, Cody Coughlin, Brandon Oakley and Paul Shafer completed the top five.

Teams that were on-hand can apply their entry fee from this race towards the entry fee for the next race and can use their qualifying tires from Columbus at the next race as well.

The next race is the Redbud 300 at the 1/4-mile bullring of Anderson Speedway in Indiana on Saturday, July 18.
