Star-Studded Entry List for WWT Raceway Truck Race

Speed51, World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway and Elite Racing Leagues have once again joined forces to put on a sim racing event, the WTTR eLeague CK Power 125 with the NASCAR Truck Series at 7:30 p.m. ET Friday night.  Stars from multiple forms of motorsports have already thrown their names into the ring for the race.

NASCAR Truck Series drivers Christian Eckes, Raphael Lessard, Jordan Anderson, Spencer Boyd, Austin Hill, and Stewart Friesen are all entered, along with Xfinity Series drivers Josh Bilicki and Ryan Vargas.  Snowball Derby winner Travis Braden and ARCA Menards Series East winner Max McLaughlin will also take part in Friday’s race.

IndyCar competitors have come out to support the event once again, with Conor Daly, Ed Carpenter, James Davison and Santino Ferrucci carrying the IndyCar Series flag for the race.  Australian Supercar racer Will Davison will also try his hand with the Trucks.

NHRA racers Matt Smith, Ron Capps and Shawn Langdon continue their support of Elite Racing Leagues with their attempts in the CK Power 125.  USAC Silver Crown racer Austin Blair is also entered.

The 100-lap feature will start 30 cars, 25 real-life professionals and five sim racers.  The open race for sim racers will take place at 6:00 p.m. ET, with the top five finishers moving on to the CK Power 125.  Qualifying for the main event will start at 7:30 p.m. ET.

In the first race of the WWTR eLeague, sports car racer Scott Andrews scored the victory in the Throwback 500.  With a shorter race for the CK Power 125, an even more exciting event is expected.
