During his career in the racing industry, Spencer was a part of NASCAR teams such as Hendrick Motorsports, Morgan-McClure Motorsports and Diamond Ridge Motorsports, as well as racing manufacturers such as PFC Brakes, Five Star Race Car Bodies and Day Racing Products.
No matter his role at the track, Spencer was a beloved figure known for both his contributions to the sport as well as his kindness. Many in the sport expressed their condolences and shared their memories of “Shamu” on Thursday.
