T-shirts are a great way for race fans to show support for their favorite driver, racetrack or series, as well as to commemorate an event. Each fan has that one favorite shirt, no matter who it represents or what discipline they take part in.
Speed51 asked fans to share those favorite racing shirts and who from the past they would wear a shirt for on social media during Monday’s episode of “The Bullring” while also talking to drivers about their own favorites.
Recent FASTRAK Racing Series winner Brent Trimble was on the show to talk about his triumph at I-77 Speedway over the weekend. The West Virginia driver’s decision was a quick one, going with a Southeast legend with close family ties.
“It makes me laugh because Freddy Smith was my dad’s buddy who we all went to the races with all the time,” Trimble said. “He’s actually friends with him and that was pretty neat, so when I was a kid going to Pennsboro that was probably the guy I looked up to.”
Fans watching the show also shared some of their favorite racing shirts by tweeting @speed51dotcom and using #TheBullring. While some fans knew exactly who to go with, others had a hard time choosing just one.
