PPV Broadcast Announced for Late Model Double at Five Flags

The Road to the 52nd Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway (FL) concludes on Saturday, September 21 with the Blizzard Series (Super Late Models) and Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series season finales.  Speed51.com and Five Flags Speedway have teamed up once again to offer fans the opportunity watch the race via a live pay-per-view broadcast from Pensacola, Florida.

Speed51's live video stream from Five Flags Speedway is available to purchase for $19.99.  Video tickets can be purchased in advance by clicking here.

In addition to being the finale of the four-race Super Late Model series held at Five Flags, the race will also serve as the penultimate event of the Southern Super Series season.

Lucas Jones currently leads Giovanni Bromante and Casey Roderick in a tight battle at the top of the Blizzard Series standings, with the top three drivers separated by just three points. Making the event even more meaningful, the Blizzard Series champion will receive an automatic starting spot in December’s 52nd Annual Snowball Derby.

Roderick holds a 32-point lead over Bromante in the Southern Super Series point standings, as he looks to become the first two-time series champion.  The Georgia driver is also looking to win his third straight Blizzard Series title and fourth overall, which would break a tie with Bubba Pollard for the most all-time.

CRA SpeedFest winner Connor Okrzesik leads the Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series points, having finished second in all three races so far this season.  He sits just seven points ahead of 14-year-old Jake Garcia, who is coming off his first JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour win at Lucas Oil Raceway last Sunday.  The series champion will get an automatic starting spot in the Snowflake 100 held the night before the Snowball Derby.

Speed51.com’s live broadcast will begin at approximately 4:30 p.m. CT / 5:30 p.m. ET for qualifying for both the Super Late Models and Pro Late Models.  That will lead into 150 laps of racing for the Blizzard Series Super Late Models and 100 laps of racing for the Allen Turner Pro Late Models.

Yearly subscribers to the Speed51 Network will receive 10% off the purchase of all pay-per-view broadcasts, including Saturday’s broadcast from Five Flags Speedway. To subscribe to the Speed51 Network today, click here.
