Race fans worldwide will be able to witness a short track battle at the “Last Great Colosseum” this June. Bristol Motor Speedway and Speed51 are once again partnering to offer an exclusive pay-per-view broadcast of the Short Track U.S. Nationals to a worldwide audience of racing enthusiasts.
The event, featuring four divisions of short track racing at the “World’s Fastest Half-Mile” will be broadcast live on Saturday, June 1. Pay-per-view tickets for the event are available for $19.99 and can be purchased by clicking here.
“Bristol Motor Speedway’s history is packed with some of the most exciting and memorable moments for racing fans, and the Short Track U.S. Nationals have already added to that lore in its first two years,” said Bob Dillner of Speed51. “While we encourage fans to make the trip to Bristol and experience this event and venue first-hand, we are excited to present this broadcast to a worldwide audience of race fans and capture all of the excitement.”
The multi-camera broadcast will showcase qualifying and feature racing for all four divisions at the 2019 Short Track U.S. Nationals, which will take place entirely on Saturday, June 1 in a new format for the event.
Four sanctioning bodies will be represented in the event, with racing in Super Late Model, Pro Late Model, Street Stock and Compact divisions. The sanctioning bodies represented are the Champion Racing Association (Super Late Model, Pro Late Model, Street Stock), the CARS Tour (Super Late Model), the Southern Super Series (Super Late Model) and the Vores Compact Touring Series (Compact).
Super Late Models and Pro Late Models will each race 100 laps, while the Street Stocks and Compacts will each race in 50-lap features.
