With thunderstorms in the forecast for Tuesday night, Albany-Saratoga Speedway and Super DIRTcar Series officials made the decision to postpone the Brett Hearn’s Big Show 8. The event will now be run on Wednesday, July 6.

Event promoters told Speed51.com powered by JEGS that the event schedule will remain the same for the rescheduled date.

This will setup a very busy week for the Big Block Modifieds, as the teams will drive north from Malta, New York towards the Canadian border for a previously scheduled event at Mohawk International Raceway in Akwesasne, New York on July 7.

Before then, the Super DIRTcar Series will compete at Canandaigua Motorsports Park (NY) Thursday, June 30 and Utica-Rome Speedway (NY) Sunday, July 3.

Speed51.com will be on site for all of the Super DIRTcar Series events with Speed Central updates and post-race video highlights on the Speed51 Network.
