Six-time ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards winner Brennan Poole has signed on to run a partial schedule with Team BCR Racing in 2015. The new union will begin in February at Daytona Int’l Speedway where the team picked up their first win of the 2014 season in the Lucas Oil 200.
“I’m looking forward to working with Team BCR,” said Poole. “They are a great team with a strong reputation, and they have given me an awesome opportunity. I feel really blessed to be a part of this team.”
Poole began his ARCA Racing Series career in 2011, winning at Salem Speedway in his series debut. The 23-year-old driver went onto win five more races at Pocono Raceway, Michigan Int’l Speedway, Elko Speedway, the Illinois State Fairgrounds mile dirt, and most recently at Kentucky Speedway in 2014. He’s also earned four Menards Pole Awards presented by Ansell, 18 top-five finishes and 27 top-10s in 35 series starts. Poole also finished third in driver championship standings in 2012, while earning the Hoosier Tire Superspeedway Challenge Championship.
Prior to Poole’s opportunity with Team BCR, the Woodlands, Texas driver had driven for Venturini Motorsports.
Team BCR earned five victories in the 2014 ARCA Racing Series season at Daytona, Mobile, Salem, Pocono and Elko. Overall, the team earned nine top-five finishes, 17 top-10s, and a Pole Award at Talladega Superspeedway.
The agreement calls for a minimum of 10 races in 2015. If additional funding is secured, the team will plan to run for the 2015 Championship.
Marketing partners, along with a race schedule, will be announced in the next few weeks.
