Racing fans who enjoyed their trackside view of John Hunter Nemechek’s dramatic victory in last year’s Snowball Derby will have the chance to see short track racing’s biggest show from the same seats this year.

Thanks to Five Flag Speedway’s unique ticket renewal program, 2014 reserved seat ticketholders can punch their ticket to 2015’s Derby before tickets go on sale to the general public. Fans can renew their old seats or upgrade their experience by calling 850-944-8400 Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM Central time.

This exclusive opportunity will be available until August 1. The speedway began mailing last year’s ticket holders early in April with the full renewal form. That form is also available online here.

Five Flags Speedway promoter Tim Bryant says that many fans have already taken advantage of this opportunity.

“Ticket renewals are coming in at a rapid pace, and I think that’s due in large part to just how competitive the recent Snowball Derbys have been. Fans know that they are going to see a great show with some of the best drivers in the country and they need to be here to see it.”

For Bryant and his staff, one of the most respected and hard-working groups in the business, the anticipation of the 48th Annual Snowball Derby is already on the forefront of their minds even as the race is still six months away.

“Even though we’re just reaching the mid-point of our regular season, our Snowball Derby preparation is underway at the same time. We feel an obligation to all the fans and racers who come each year to try to maintain and improve the atmosphere that has become known as the Snowball Derby experience.”

This year’s Snowball Derby will run on Sunday, December 6 with a full week of action featuring pit parties, the popular grassroots divisions at Five Flags and the Pro Late Model crown jewel Allen Turner Hyundai Snowflake 100 preceding.

The Derby, however, is undoubtedly the biggest of them all. In its previous 47 years, names like Darrell Waltrip, Ronnie Sanders, Jody Ridley, Rich Bickle, and – in recent years – rising stars Chase Elliott, Erik Jones, and John Hunter Nemechek, have etched their name into the Tom Dawson Trophy.

With many top drivers having already committed this year’s Derby, fans who take advantage of this renewal program are guaranteed to see the best drivers Super Late Model racing has to offer. General admission tickets go on sale on August 18.
