Pay-Per-View Broadcast Announced for Battle at Berlin

A battle of Super Late Model titans will be broadcast live to a worldwide audience this Saturday, August 17 when the green flag waves for the Battle at Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway.  Officials from the ARCA/CRA Super Series, Berlin Raceway and have announced that the Super Late Model / Pro Late Model combination race will be streamed live via a pay-per-view broadcast on Speed51.

“We’re so excited to have this race return to with a new format that should prove to be entertaining for race fans,” said Speed51 Editor Brandon Paul.  “The Battle at Berlin 251 is one of the biggest asphalt Late Model races in the Midwest.  With a strong field of over 30 drivers already entered for this year’s event, we expect to witness a great event on Saturday night.  Nothing will replace being in the grandstands at Berlin Raceway, but we’re happy to be able to offer an option for those unable to attend in person.”


This year’s Battle at Berlin 251 will be a combination event featuring the Super Late Models from the ARCA/CRA Super Series, the Pro Late Models from the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and the weekly Super Late Models at Berlin Raceway.  A star-studded field for the race includes big race winners, Super Late Model champions, Pro Late Model champions, track champions and more.


National Super Late Model stars Bubba Pollard and Preston Peltier will square up against regional stars such as Brian Campbell and Johnny VanDoorn, as well as local stars like Nate Walton and Dave Lake in a 251-lap battle around the tricky Berlin oval.


The live broadcast is scheduled to begin at approximately 8 p.m. ET when driver introductions begin for the Battle at Berlin 251.
