The stars and cars of the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) will be in action Sunday afternoon at Oxford Plains Speedway during one of the final tune-ups before the prestigious Oxford 250. PASS and Speed51 have teamed up to offer fans around the world the opportunity to watch the 150-lap race via a live pay-per-view broadcast.
Live video tickets for the event will be available for $19.99, and will give fans the chance to view all feature races, as well as qualifying heats.
Sunday’s event at Oxford Plains will be the eighth event of the 2020 PASS season and the final points-counting race prior to the Oxford 250 on August 28-30.
On the heels of four victories in seven starts this season, Vermont native Nick Sweet currently holds a 15-point lead over Travis Benjamin in the battle for the championship. Defending series champion DJ Shaw sit third, with six-time PASS North champion Johnny Clark and five-time PASS National champion Ben Rowe completing the top five.
If history is any indication, the event leading into the Oxford 250 will draw one of the highest car counts of the season. With only two weeks remaining until the $25,000-to-win crown jewel event, teams from across the region will be searching for speed at the Oxford, Maine oval.
The live broadcast on Speed51 is expected to begin at approximately 3 p.m. ET for qualifying heats. In addition to the PASS Super Late Models, PASS Modified and the Honey Badger Street Stock Series will also be in action.
