According to Speed51.com partner site DirtonDirt.com, Brandon Overton earned his first-career Carolina Clash victory Saturday night at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, North Carolina.

Overton, of Appling, Georgia, out-dueled Dennis “Rambo” Franklin for the victory.

Overton led much of Friday’s Grassy Smith Memorial at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina, but was passed by Don O’Neal with less than 15 laps remaining.  Saturday night, Overton was able to overcome several lead swaps with Franklin for the Clash triumph.

Franklin finished second, followed by Zack Mitchell, Kennie Compton, Jr. and Ricky Weeks.

Twenty Carolina Clash cars started the feature.
