For the 18th straight year, Tour-type Modified drivers from up and down the East Coast will come together in North Carolina for an annual November clash. Returning to the fast confines of Caraway Speedway, the North-South Shootout will display not just the Modifieds, but a number of top short track classes, and no matter where you are, you can watch it on Speed51.TV presented by Haney Lifestyle and HMS Motorsport.
This weekend’s live broadcast from the Sophia, North Carolina track will be presented by HMS Motorsport. Fans will be able to watch Friday night’s qualifying at 6 p.m. ET as well as all feature racing on Saturday, November 6 starting at 1 p.m. ET. All you need to watch, will be your Speed51.TV yearly or monthly subscription.
The North-South Shootout in Memory of Charles Kepley, will be another showcase for the Super Late Model stars of the PRA Tour, who will go for 150 laps featuring many of the top drivers in the Carolinas and beyond. Limited Late Models will take the track for 75 laps, while 602 Modifieds, 602 Super Limiteds, and Mini Stocks will all have the track for 50 laps each.
Plus of course, is the main event: the 150-lap John Blewett III Memorial for the Tour-type Modifieds which is ready to boast another great North-South on track battle.
The South will boast a great defense as ususal, with the likes Burt Myers, Jason Myers, John Smith, Bobby Measmer Jr, Jeff Fultz, James Civali, and Modified newcomer Max McLaughlin all on the entry list.
But the long haulers from up North will be traveling heavy. Matt Hirschman, Ron Silk, Craig Lutz, Patrick Emerling, Anthony Nocella, Tommy Catalano, and Ronnie Williams will lead the march south.
