West Salem, WI- GO Racing Promotions President Greg Oliver has officially announced the formation of the Midwest Dash Series. Building on the success of the Midwest Dash division the past two seasons at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway’s Oktoberfest Race Weekend and the implementation of this division twice during the 2015 calendar at Madison International Speedway, the new series will officially debut during this year’s Oktoberfest on Saturday October 10.

The Midwest Dash Series will utilize a common set of rules from popular regional four cylinder classes such as the Mini Mods, Internationals  and American Short Trackers.  “Much like the Great Northern Sportsman Series, the Midwest Dash Series will seek to balance the competition with weight and other adjustments. ” stated Oliver whom successfully created the Great Northern Sportsman Series three  seasons ago.  “There is a lot of excitement surrounding this style of four cylinder racing in our region, this will allow the best of the best to showcase their skills under a common set of rules at the region’s premier facilities.”

A 5 to 6 race schedule is currently under development for the 2016 race season. Complete rules, purse structure, points system and race procedures will be announced at the Midwest Motorsports Racers’ Expo January 9.
