A new episode of Speed51’s Short Track America debuts on MAVTV Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET as the Road to the 52nd Annual Snowball Derby continues with Round #2 of the Blizzard Series at Five Flags Speedway (FL).
The four-race Blizzard Series gives Super Late Model teams the chance to compete at the famed half-mile oval in Pensacola, Florida before the biggest asphalt Super Late Model event of the year, the Snowball Derby. It also provides a provisional starting spot in the Snowball Derby field, adding to the intensity and prestige of the events.
The Blizzard Series always brings a star-studded field of some of the nation’s best Super Late Model racers. Giovanni Bromante won the Blizzard Series opener seen earlier this year on MAVTV, but he faces the likes of Bubba Pollard, Connor Okrzesik, Casey Roderick, Donnie Wilson and many more in his repeat bid.
Bob Dillner and Mark Keeler will be on the call for the race, with Dylan Smith reporting from pit road throughout the event.
Wednesday night’s broadcast begins a stretch of four straight weeks with new episodes of Short Track America on MAVTV.
Following Round #2 of the Blizzard Series, the “Glory Days 50” for the ULTIMATE Southeast Super Late Models at Lake View Motor Speedway (SC) will air on September 4. From there, we’ll head back to the “Last Great Colosseum” of Bristol Motor Speedway for a one-hour show featuring the Vores Compact Touring Series on September 11. One week later, Short Track America returns to Five Flags Speedway for Round #3 of the Blizzard Series featuring heat races and a 75-lap main event.
The newest episode of Speed51’s Short Track America will premiere at 7 p.m. ET on MAVTV. It will air again at 10 p.m. ET for West Coasters and night owls who miss the original airing. Further airings of the episode will also occur. Check your local listings and mavtv.com for details.
Tune in to MAVTV tonight as the Road to the 52nd Annual Snowball Derby rolls on with the second race of the Blizzard Series on Short Track America.
